Privacy Policy

The short version

The contact form is the only part of this site that collects anything. We set no cookies, run no analytics, and embed no advertising or tracking pixels. Nothing you do while reading these pages is recorded by us.

What we collect, and when

When you submit the contact form

We ask for, and store, exactly what the form shows:

• Name and email address, which are required so we can reply.
• Company, project type and budget range, all optional.
• The message you write.

The form also contains one hidden field that is invisible to you and left empty by a browser. Automated spam submissions tend to fill it in, which is how they are discarded. It collects nothing about you.

When you simply read the site

Our web server keeps standard access logs, as essentially every web server does. These record the request, the time, and the IP address it came from. They exist to keep the site running and secure, are not used to build any profile of you, and are not combined with anything you send through the form.

What we do not collect

Stated explicitly, because it is unusual enough to be worth saying:

• No analytics of any kind. We do not know which pages you read.
• No cookies. The site sets none, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
• No advertising or remarketing pixels, and no social media trackers.
• No browser storage. Nothing is written to your device.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making.

Third parties

Google Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google's servers rather than ours, which means your IP address reaches Google in order for the fonts to be served. We have no control over what Google does with it; their handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Nothing else about your visit is shared with them.

Hosting

The site runs on infrastructure we control. Our hosting provider processes the access logs described above on our behalf and for no other purpose.

Case studies link to our clients' live products. Once you follow one you are on their site, under their policy, not ours.

Why we are allowed to hold it

When you send the form you are asking us to get in touch, so we process what you sent in order to answer you and, if it goes further, to discuss the work. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is your consent in making the enquiry together with our legitimate interest in replying to it. We do not send marketing to anyone who has not asked for it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that turn into conversations are kept for as long as the business relationship runs and for a reasonable period afterwards, since we may be required to account for the work. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once it is clear there is nothing to discuss. You can ask us to delete yours sooner, and we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to our processing it, or to receive it in a portable form. Residents of the EU and UK have these under the GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

We have never sold personal information and have no intention of doing so. Given the above there is very little to ask for, but ask and we will answer.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not claim otherwise, but the amount we hold is deliberately small.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. If the change affects how we treat something you have already sent us, we will contact you about it rather than relying on you noticing.
